Feature ReviewsFeature reviews can address any text(s) (fiction or non-fiction) and/or event(s) relevant to the study of island cultures. Articles should be 2500-3500 words in length and should follow standard format and referencing guidelines (see above). All submissions will be fully refereed (but will writers will not necessarily be expected to cover their topics as comprehensively as longer journal articles). Intending authors are invited to discuss their proposed topics with the editors in advance of submission.
Photo EssaysPhoto essays should construct an argument and/or analysis via the medium of photographic images and accompanying texts. All submissions will be fully refereed by appropriate experts in photographic essay production and topic-specific areas.
